Overnight Ratings: USA Network's NASCAR Sprint Cup Coverage Leads Non-Olympic Sports

With the Rio Games dominating sports coverage over the weekend and the Pro Football HOF Game cancelled due to field conditions, USA Network's telecast of the NASCAR Sprint Cup race from Watkins Glen was the highest-rated non-Olympic telecast. The race yesterday, which was moved to USA Net due to Olympic coverage, drew a 2.1 overnight. The same race last year on NBCSN drew a 2.4 overnight.

The chart below lists overnight ratings from weekend sports telecasts on broadcast TV.
