THE MMQB's Emily Kaplan reported Redskins CB Josh Norman "will be a regular contributor for Fox's NFL coverage this season." It is a "one-year agreement stipulating a minimum of 10 appearances." Norman will "make his debut on the Week 1 edition" of "Fox NFL Kickoff" at 11:00am ET on Sept. 11. He will "appear in pre-taped segments as well as live hits from the stadium or his home in Virginia (Fox will send a crew)." On his bye week, Norman will "travel for in-studio shows, and he will also have the opportunity to work on feature and access-driven stories." The arrangement "could include Norman appearing on a show on the same day he plays in a game." Norman said that is "not going to be a problem at all" (MMQB.SI.com, 8/8).

The spokesperson said, "We value our relationship with Brian and offered him another opportunity with the network, which he declined.” Westbrook said that CSN Philly "offered him a 30 minute show on Thursdays" (PHILLY.com, 8/5).
MY BROTHER'S KEEPER: Fox NFL analyst Chris Spielman, the brother of Vikings GM Rick Spielman, said that he "has been assigned" to work the Vikings' opener Sept. 11. In St. Paul, Chris Tomasson notes Chris Spielman, a "longtime college broadcaster on ESPN, is entering his first season with Fox." Chris said, "It's pretty interesting. I thought it was quite a coincidence" (ST. PAUL PIONEER PRESS, 8/7).
