USA TODAY's Brant James noted 5-Hour Energy "will sponsor" Erik Jones’ No. 77 Toyota for 22 of his 36 Sprint Cup races for Furniture Row Racing. Team President Joe Garone said that the deal with the energy drink -- which has sponsored Clint Bowyer since '12 -- "is for one season with an option" for '18 (USATODAY.com, 8/7). Furniture Row Racing owner Barney Visser said that the team "will attempt to gain a NASCAR charter for the No. 77 rather than competing as an open entry" (ESPN.com, 8/7). 

SPANISH CLASS: WOMEN's WEAR DAILY's Lisa Lockwood noted Tommy Hilfiger "will once again feature" Rafael Nadal, the brand's "global men's wear ambassador, in its fall underwear campaign." This marks the third season that Hilfiger has "spotlighted Nadal" in its advertising. The tennis player "will appear in ads for underwear, Tommy Hilfiger Tailored and fragrance" (WWD.com, 8/5).

PARTY CITY: SI's Ben Reiter notes Indians fan Nate Crowe in April coined the phrase "Party At Napoli's" -- in reference to Indians 1B Mike Napoli -- and the phrase "quickly caught on as a rallying cry both in and out of the clubhouse." By last week, $88,000 "had been raised for the Cleveland Clinic from the sale of T-shirts bearing the slogan" (SI, 8/8 issue).
