Levy Retail Officially Taking Over Lions' Merchandising Operation At Ford Field

The Lions today are officially announcing Levy Retail’s takeover of their merchandise operation at Ford Field. It includes the stadium’s renovated team store on the main concourse, rebranded as The Stadium Collection. The redesigned store features exclusive Lions gear and includes three kiosks where fans can design their own custom Lions jerseys. In addition to Nike, the NFL’s official retail provider, the store will offer Mitchell & Ness, Majestic, New Era items, plus 5th & Ocean, a women’s apparel brand. The 7,600-square-foot store expands to 49 permanent points-of-sale with the flexibility to add three “line buster” mobile units during peak times, Levy officials said. The Lions and Levy Retail have scheduled a soft opening for the store Saturday during the team’s open practice at Ford Field. The store will be fully operational for the Lions’ first home preseason game Aug. 18 against the Bengals, officials said. In January, THE DAILY first reported Levy Retail would take over the Lions’ merchandise from MainGate. It is the Chicago concessionaire’s first NFL retail account. Separately, Levy runs the merchandise at Wrigley Field, Chase Field, Oracle Arena, Scottrade Center, United Center and Arlington Park.
