Mavericks' Mark Cuban Slams Donald Trump During "Late Show" Appearance

Mavericks Owner MARK CUBAN sat down with STEPHEN COLBERT on last night’s edition of CBS’ “Late Show,” talking about how originally he was excited to see DONALD TRUMP enter the presidential race, but has since joined the “Never Trump” movement. Cuban said of changing his view, “At the beginning, he was a businessperson, and I wanted to see a change from the traditional politician, but then he went and opened his mouth.” Cuban said Trump “had a really good chance to be different and have a chance to change things, but he doesn’t do the work. He’s lazy.” In a segment called “The Late Show Presents: Mark Cuban Takes the Gloves Off," Cuban performed a series of rapid-fire jokes. He said, “Hey, speaking of gloves, I got you a pair for your birthday. You’re a child's medium, right? Donald, I've got a travel tip for you. When you're going through customs and they ask if you’ve got anything to declare, try not to blurt out ‘bankruptcy.’” Colbert: “Oh, that’s a billionaire bitch slap!” More Cuban: “Donald, your companies fail so often you must have gone to business school at Trump University!” Colbert interjected, “Oh Donald, he just dropped you like one of your first two wives!” (“Late Show,” CBS, 7/20).
