FSU Football Announces It Will Star In Showtime Series During '16 Season

Florida State Univ.'s football team "will be the focus of Showtime's 'A Season With' series" for the '16 season, according to Safid Deen of the TALLAHASSEE DEMOCRAT. The series will give FSU a "prime opportunity to showcase" its program to a national audience. The show debuts on Sept. 6 at 10:00pm ET, a day after FSU's season opener against Ole Miss in Orlando. The series aims to give a "behind-the-scenes look inside the world of college football." Showtime "showcased Notre Dame for its first season of the show" with 14 episodes chronicling the '15 season. Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly said that the "spotlight was more of a positive than negative light on his program after it aired" (TALLAHASSEE DEMOCRAT, 7/20).
