Nike promoted VP & GM/Running for North America STEVE LESNARD to VP & GM of Global Running, succeeding PATRICK SEEHAFER, who has been promoted to VP/Europe Merchandising (Nike)....The Coyotes named Learfield Sports GM for its Sacramento State Univ. property BRIAN SANDY President for its AHL Tucson Roadrunners affiliate. The Coyotes also hired the following to work with the Roadrunners: TOM CALLAHAN as Dir of Media Relations and radio play-by-play announcer; MARK IRALSON as Dir of Game Operations; and BOB HOFFMAN as Dir of Sales (Coyotes)....Sources said that the Hawks last week "let go" of DUANE FERRELL, who has taken on a "role with the team's alumni association." Ferrell until '14 had been the team's Player Relations & Programs Manager and had also "served as the pregame and postgame analyst for the Hawks Radio Network" (AJC.com, 7/18)....Old Dominion Univ. promoted Dir of Broadcasting TED ALEXANDER to Senior Associate AD/External Relations, replacing DEBBIE HARMISON WHITE, who retired two weeks ago. Alexander will "continue calling play-by-play for ODU's football and men's basketball games" (Hampton Roads DAILY PRESS, 7/19)....AIM Marketing Solutions named former Helios Partners VP KEVIN DONOVAN Account Dir of SunTrust sports and entertainment (THE DAILY).
