In Baltimore, Lorraine Mirabella notes Under Armour has "unveiled its first uniform designs" for EPL club Southampton as "part of a seven-year partnership." UA "created both home and away uniforms" for the '16-17 season, "designing the gear in the new Innovation Lab at the UA Lighthouse." The partnership "kicked off July 1," and the team will "debut the new look on Aug. 13" (Baltimore SUN, 7/6).

FIGHTING CHANCE: YAHOO ESPORTS' Michael Martin noted PC manufacturer Alienware Japan has a new face "representing its brand" in competitive "Street Fighter" games. Competitive gamer Naoki "Nemo" Nemoto on Friday "announced his partnership" with Dell-owned Alienware. In Nemoto, Alienware gets one of the "most well-known and experienced Street Fighter players in Japan, someone who can lead its new charge into professional gaming in the region" (ESPORTS.YAHOO.com, 7/2).

SHOO FLY, DON'T BOTHER ME: SC Johnson said that its OFF! bug spray brand "has been named the official insect repellent supplier" for the Rio Games, amid "ongoing fears" about the Zika virus. The company said that the repellent "will be provided to athletes, volunteers, staff and media at the games" (AP, 7/5).
