New Responsibilities: ESPN Makes Several Personnel Moves In Tech Department

ESPN shifted management roles in its technology department, tapping MIKE ANDREWS to head up the Media Engineering group as VP and TASNEEM BRUTCH to take on the new role of VP/IT. The company also installed MICHAEL CUPO as VP/Technology Operations, MARINA ESCOBAR as VP/Advanced Technology Group and JOHN HEERDT as VP/Enterprise Software Engineering. The moves were outlined in a memo from Exec VP & CTO AARON LABERGE emailed to employees this morning. Andrews, Brutch, Cupo, Escobar and Heerdt will report to LaBerge. Other moves include promotions for DAVE JOHNSON to VP/Engineering & Media Distribution and GUS WEBBER to VP/Data Platforms and new responsibilities for KRISH DASGUPTA, who becomes VP/Advanced Tech Development.
