A lawsuit filed by the SEC notes Broncos QB MARK SANCHEZ, Giants P JAKE PEAVY and former MLBer ROY OSWALT "were scammed out of millions of dollars" by former RGT Capital Management Managing Partner ASH NARAYAN, who "gained their trust by stressing his Christian faith and claiming to be a certified public accountant." The lawsuit accused Narayan of "fraudulently channeling the money to The Ticket Reserve, a struggling online sports and entertainment ticketing business formed to help fans reserve face-value seats for sports events for which teams had not yet been determined" (USA TODAY, 6/22). Narayan "directed at least 77 client investments to The Ticket Reserve, totaling more" than $33M (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 6/22).

Coughlin trains six days a week for up to six hours a day on a regular basis
ON THE ROAD TO RIO: SELF magazine's Molly Knight in a cover story profiles U.S. swimmer NATALIE COUGHLIN, who at age 33 "hopes to swim in her fourth Olympics" at the Rio Games. Coughlin has "nearly a decade on most of her twentysomething competitors," and if she medals, she will "become the most decorated American female Olympian in history." Coughlin "trains six days a week, up to six hours a day -- morning swims, afternoon swims and weights, plus physical therapy at least once a week," and rests on Sundays. Coughlin's diet is "rich in proteins, antioxidants and healthy fats." Smoothies "are a favorite; she makes them with almond milk and almond butter, plus chia seeds to help with hydration and fiber, and dark cherries to aid with muscle recovery." An "avid cook," Coughlin "hopes to release a cookbook next year" (SELF, July/August '16 issue).

NAMES: MSG Chair JAMES DOLAN has exited Time Warner Cable's BOD after a year. TWC said it already named Bucks co-Owner MARC LASRY as the replacement. Dolan cited his "day-to-day business dealings ... and his personal commitments to his family and music as the reason for his departure" (DEADLINE.com, 6/21)....Yankees manager JOE GIRARDI and Rockies manager WALT WEISS "honored the victims of the Orlando shooting at home plate before the Yankees first pitch" yesterday. During the on-field memorial "both teams lined up along the baselines as Girardi and Weiss met at home plate to lay a rainbow wreath to honor the 49 people killed in the Orlando terror attack." Also in attendance was MLB VP/Social Responsibility & Inclusion BILLY BEAN (N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 6/22)....Goodyear gave away 1,292 tires during the NBA Finals to "new Akron-area parents." Goodyear "came up with an 'Akron Born' promotion, in partnership with Summa and Cleveland Clinic Akron General." Cavaliers F LEBRON JAMES and Warriors G STEPHEN CURRY were both born in Akron. Goodyear gave away a set of "four Goodyear brand tires, and 'Akron Born' onesie and a car seat for each child born locally during the Finals." Summa reported 164 babies born during the Finals and Akron General reported 159 babies born (OHIO.com, 6/21)....MIKE FRANCESA and CHRIS RUSSO have been nominated for the National Radio HOF in the "Spoken Word On-Air Personality" category (NEWSDAY, 6/22).
