Harman, AmEx, BBVA, Cisco, Tissot Among NBA League Partners Activating Around Draft

The NBA Draft is set for tomorrow night at Barclays Center with about a dozen league sponsors activating around the event. State Farm is the presenting partner of the Draft, with Anheuser-Busch, Gatorade, Pepsi’s Mountain Dew and Verizon designated as associate partners. Activations include American Express, which is holding an exclusive hospitality event for 140 card members, along with a meet-and-greet with T'Wolves C Karl-Anthony Towns, the reigning Rookie of the Year. Like last year, BBVA will continue its "Bright Futures" promo with vignettes featuring expected first-round picks Brandon Ingram, Jamal Murray and Buddy Hield that will be posted on BBVA digital channels and NBA.com. Cisco will use their TelePresence web video conference tech to conduct player interviews for international media in several cities, including Melbourne, Beijing and São Paulo. New league partner Tissot will have its logo featured on the on-stage Draft clock. The watchmaker also will have a gifting suite for first-round players to receive personalized watches. Harman is debuting the JBL Vine Booth that will feature players through NBA Vine and through Twitter. Players also will wear custom, hand-painted headphones featuring their respective team logos. Samsung is holding a Draft sweepstakes that brings the winner a VIP Draft experience, including a photo with the Draft class and meet-and-greet with Towns, while SAP will unveil a new NBA Draft statistical feature on NBA.com.
