Buyers & Sellers: Former Rays Owner Vince Naimoli Sells Tampa Area Estate For $3.9M

More than six years after it first hit the market, the 15,500-square-foot Tampa area estate of former Rays Owner VINCE NAIMOLI "has finally sold" for 3.9M, a 72% "drop from its peak price" of $14M. Naimoli "built the Tudor-style mansion on 10 acres on Lake Chapman" in '95 (TAMPA BAY TIMES, 6/10).

POINT OF SALE: Former NHLer OLEG TVERDOVSKY "has sold his home" in Bel-Air for $7.81M. He "bought the property six years ago" for $5.4M. Completed in '08 and "sited behind gates on about two acres, the Mediterranean villa-style home offers sweeping views of the cityscape, the outlying mountains and the ocean" (LATIMES.com, 6/10).

RENT OR BUY?
Dolphins TE JORDAN CAMERON bought a home in Westlake Village, Calif., for $2.05M. The 3,500-square-foot multilevel home has French and bifold doors that "open to a patio with a dining area and a fire pit with built-in seating." A covered pavilion with a stone fireplace, an outdoor kitchen, bar seating and streams of market lights "are among the party-ready features." A swimming pool "is outfitted with a waterfall features, custom lighting and a spa" (LATIMES.com, 6/15)....ESPN's JAY WILLIAMS "has rented a modern new-construction home in East Hampton for $65,000 for the month of August." The five-bedroom Hamptons home "boasts a master suite with doors that open to the pool." The master bath "includes a soaking tub" (N.Y. POST, 6/9).   

BUYERS & SELLERS: Basketball HOFer LISA LESLIE is "selling her home" in a gated Calabasas, Calif., community for $1.854M. Built in '96, the roughly 4,600 square feet of interiors "features a two-story entry with a sweeping staircase that opens to a living room with a fireplace and an adjacent family/game room." A dining room "topped with a modern chandelier also sits off the entry" (LATIMES.com, 6/14)....Former NFLer MATT BIRK has put his Greenwich, Conn., home on the market for $3.85M, the "same price Birk paid for it" back in '14. Originally built in '91, the Colonial-style home features 6,912 square feet of space (STAMFORD ADVOCATE, 6/16)....NBA Kings F RUDY GAY has sold his Memphis home to Univ. of Memphis basketball coach TUBBY SMITH for $1.48M. The two-story house "returned to market in mid-April and closed sale in less than two months." Gay "bought the house six years ago" for just more than $1.176M (LATIMES.com, 6/16).
