Mississippi State Moves To Spectra Ticketing, Working With Sidearm Sports For Website

Mississippi State announced this week that it is shifting its ticket marketing and sales over to the Spectra Ticketing and Fan Engagement platform and services as part of an overall technology shift by the school. Spectra’s platform will manage ticket sales, donor relations and marketing automation. MSU also is in the process of moving its official athletic website to Sidearm Sports, which has the web rights for 170 D-I properties. Those web and ticketing functions previously were handled by NeuLion. MSU joins a Spectra lineup of about 120 schools, including eight in the SEC. MSU Senior Associate AD/Bulldog Club & Ticket Operations Mike Richey said the athletic department was drawn to Spectra’s software platform and marketing services. Prior to using Spectra’s ticketing services, MSU used Spectra’s 3D seat relocation system in the recently expanded Davis Wade Stadium.
