Overnight Ratings: NBC Sees Drop For Both Men's, Women's Finals At French Open

NBC yesterday drew a 1.6 overnight rating for Novak Djokovic' win over Andy Murray at the French Open in four sets, which gave Djokovic a career Grand Slam. That figure is down from a 1.9 for Stanislas Wawrinka's win over Djokovic in last year's final in four sets. NBC in '14 drew a 2.1 overnight for Rafael Nadal's win over Djokovic in four sets. Nadal's win over David Ferrer in '13 drew a 1.7 overnight (straight sets). Meanwhile, NBC on Saturday drew a 1.3 overnight for Garbine Muguruzu's upset of Serena Williams in straight sets. The figure for this year's women's final at the French Open was down sharply from a 1.9 rating for Williams' win over Lucie Safarova in three sets. Maria Sharapova's three-set win over Simona Halep in '14 drew a 1.5 rating.

NOTES: FS1 on Friday night drew a 1.0 overnight for the opening match of the Copa America Centenario, as the U.S. men's soccer team lost to Colombia 2-0.
