Bears Become Latest Team To Implement Dynamic Pricing For Single-Game Tickets

The Bears this season for the first time will use variable pricing for single-game tickets, meaning prices will "vary depending on the opponent and time of season," according to Danny Ecker of CRAIN'S CHICAGO BUSINESS. The cheapest ticket for the Dec. 18 game against the rival Packers is $240, but tickets "for the game two weeks before ... and one week after" against the 49ers and Redskins, respectively, start at $140. Those prices are "still significantly higher than single-game prices last year, which started at $106 and had six price points below $140." Season tickets make up more than 85% "of all seating at Bears games, which means the number of single-game tickets on the market is likely less than 9,000." The Bears for the second straight year "kept season-ticket prices flat" (CHICAGOBUSINESS.com, 5/19).
