Sports Business Awards: Experience Wins Best In Mobile Fan Experience

Winning the inaugural Best in Mobile Fan Experience category and its second overall Sports Business Award in three years, Experience CEO Greg Foster had a simple answer for what has made the company so successful. “Everything is based on relationships,” he said, “and working with some of the best companies, leagues and teams in sports and entertainment has really given us this opportunity to grow and reach our ultimate goal, which is helping fans have an incredible time at live events.” It is the expansion of that client base, which now includes two-thirds of U.S. pro sports teams and many of the leading live entertainment companies such as Ticketmaster, Live Nation and MLBAM, that has led to success for Atlanta-based Experience, which works with teams and venues to provide seat upgrades and perks tied to those upsells through mobile devices. Foster, who is a little more than six weeks on the job, said the company getting the award this early in his tenure is “the best thing a new CEO could ask for.” Foster: “I’m proud of our team that every year we’ve been able to introduce new products that make it easier for those that we work with to do what they do.”
