Buyers & Sellers: Fox' Colin Cowherd Picks Up Manhattan Beach Home For $3.7M

Fox Sports radio host COLIN COWHERD is moving to a different part of Manhattan Beach, Calif., and has "bought a home in the Tree Section neighborhood" for $3.7M. He also "put a house nearby up for sale" at $3.27M or for lease at $15,000 a month. The new home is 3,600 square feet "a total of four bedrooms and four bathrooms" (LATIMES.com, 5/4).

BUYERS & SELLERS: Less than two weeks after selling his Anaheim-area home "at a loss," Ducks C RYAN GETZLAF is in "position to make up the difference," as his four-bedroom Newport Beach home hit the market for $7.19M. Getzlaf "bought the house" in March '15 for $6.1M. The 5,397-square-foot house has "panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean" and "access to three gated, secluded beaches" (OCREGISTER.com, 5/3)....Phillies 1B RYAN HOWARD is putting his six-bedroom estate in Blue Bell, Pa., "back on the market" for $2.69M. Howard bought the home for $2.3M in March '09. Howard had previously put the home "on the market two years ago," and it "was refurbished last year." The property was listed for $2.95M when he originally put the 9,000-square-foot home on the market. The estate "boasts a pool, pool house, a three-car attached garage and a three car detached garage, as well as a wine cellar, gym, sauna and movie room" (NJ.com, 5/4)....Lakers C ROY HIBBERT has "sold his mansion estate in Carmel, Ind.," for $2.65M -- $150,000 "less than what he paid for the 11,200-square-foot home four years ago." The two-story home was "originally built" for former NBAer ALAN HENDERSON and has a kitchen "with two islands, a game room, a home theater and a lounge with a wet bar among common areas." An elevator "services both floors" of the home with "six bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms" (LATIMES.com, 5/3).
