The NFL has confirmed that Senior VP & Chief Security Officer JEFF MILLER "is leaving" his position. NFL VP/Communications BRIAN MCCARTHY said, "He informed the league last month that he was going to take a job on the West Coast with a private security firm. He worked the draft, will work at the league meeting and subsequent training session. He will leave the NFL next month.” A source said that the move "has nothing to do with performance, and it wasn’t initiated by the league." Another source said that the NFL "has not decided on a replacement" (PROFOOTBALLTALK.com, 5/4).
