Buyers & Sellers: Jerry Reinsdorf Unloads Chicago-Area Residence For $1.475M

Bulls and White Sox Chair JERRY REINSDORF and his wife, MARTYL, have "sold a 4,778-square-foot, contemporary-style house" in Northfield, Ill., for $1.475M. The Reinsdorfs "tried to sell the house off and on since August, when they listed it" for $1.549M (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 4/21)....Dodgers 2B CHASE UTLEY has listed his "updated Colonial" in Gladwyne, Pa., for sale at $3.495M. The brick two-story, built in '98, "was once home" to Basketball HOF-elect ALLEN IVERSON. Recently renovated in a "more contemporary style, the 8,141-square-foot house features subdued tones, modern light fixtures and light, wide-plank wood floors throughout" (LATIMES.com, 4/21)....Ducks C RYAN GETZLAF has "unloaded his five-bedroom house" in Tustin Ranch Estates near Anaheim for $3.75M. The amount "was below" the $4.9M "he asked for when the home was listed in July." Set on "nearly an acre in the guard-gated community, the 6,900-square-foot house boasts a Pebble Tec swimming pool and spa, sport court, putting green, two covered patios and an outdoor fireplace and built-in barbecue" (ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER, 4/26).
