TWO FOR ONE: Former NFL agent Joel Corry in a special for CBSSPORTS.com wrote Rep 1 Sports has "quickly become a major player in quarterback representation world," as Bruce and Ryan Tollner "have really made their mark" in recent NFL Drafts. Rep 1 now has represented the "top quarterback prospects" in the last three Drafts, with Goff, the Titans' Marcus Mariota and Jaguars' Blake Bortles. The last time an agency "represented the first two picks in the draft" was '09, when CAA repped QB Matthew Stafford (Lions) and OT Jason Smith (Rams) (CBSSPORTS.com, 4/26).

DRAFT BOARD MARATHON: Asked what he tells his clients as they are going through the draft process, Lagardere Sports Football President Joel Segal said, "There’s a very long lead-up to the NFL draft, and I explain the process. NFL teams’ draft boards are changing from the beginning of the year, through the Senior Bowl in January, through the Combine in February, through Pro Days in March, and through personal visits and workouts in April. It’s really a marathon, and you can only take it one day at a time. ... I always tell all my guys, 'Let’s not worry about what you’re hearing out there. Block it out. Let’s talk about your draft position the week of the draft'" (GQ.com, 4/28).
