Nike Chair PHIL KNIGHT, in an interview to be aired on "CBS NEWS SUNDAY MORNING" this week, said that he plans to give most of his estimated $25B fortune "away to charity." Knight: "By the time, you know, the lives of my children and their kids run out, I will have given most of it to charity." Knight also addresses "a range of issues, including his relationship with MICHAEL JORDAN and Nike's use of cheap overseas labor" (Portland OREGONIAN, 4/22).

FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH: Orlando City SC on Thursday "unveiled a 'mini-pitch'" at Hankins Park Community Center. The club has "already set up other mini pitches" as part of a program "trying to engage kids from 7 to 13 years of age" (ORLANDO SENTINEL, 4/22)....The Royals on Wednesday held a groundbreaking for the $14M Urban Youth Academy in K.C. This is MLB's "ninth such endeavor." It is "groundbreaking in its own right in terms of budget, spirit of cooperation and intended scope." SECRET AGENT MAN: Free agent CB JOSH NORMAN “has switched” agents from MICHAEL GEORGE of SFX to RYAN WILLIAMS of Athletes First. George “will still be on Norman’s representation team, but Williams will negotiate Norman’s next contract” with an NFL team (SPORTS.YAHOO.com, 4/22)....NBA Draft prospect BUDDY HIELD told ESPN that he has signed with agent ROB PELINKA (TWITTER.com, 4/22).

NAMES: Former Clippers Owner DONALD STERLING "filed notice that he'll appeal last month's dismissal of his federal antitrust lawsuit" against the NBA. Sterling's wife SHELLY and NBA Commissioner ADAM SILVER are "among the defendants in the lawsuit" stemming from the $2B sale of the Clippers in '14 (L.A. TIMES, 4/22)....Former NFLer PHIL VILLAPIANO, the '71 AFC rookie of the year, announced this week that he plans to "pledge his brain to medical science" (SAN JOSE MERCURY NEWS, 4/22)....Cowboys QB TONY ROMO and actor MATTHEW MORRISON are among those headed to DC next week "for events surrounding the White House Correspondents' Association's annual dinner" (THEHILL.com, 4/20).
