Strange Brew: Orioles Halt Sales Of Popular National Bohemian Beer At Camden Yards

The Orioles over their first six home games of the season sold the popular National Bohemian beer brand in select areas at Camden Yards, but as the team opened a three-game homestand last night against the Blue Jays, the beer "was unavailable for purchase," according to Eduardo Encina of the Baltimore SUN. Whether the club has "entirely turned its page on Natty Boh sales remains to be seen, but a return to Camden Yards this season appears unlikely." This season, a bar "dedicated to National Bohemian sales located in Oriole Park’s first-base lower concourse changed branding and is now centered around Leinenkugel’s sales." While Natty Boh is an "extremely popular brand locally ... the beer hasn't been brewed in Maryland" since '96 (BALTIMORESUN.com, 4/19).
