In Chicago, Mark Gonzales notes Cubs 1B Anthony Rizzo on Thursday "formally introduced 'RizzO's,' his cereal in which proceeds will go to the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation." Rizzo "emphasized that proceeds will help raise money for pediatric cancer." Meanwhile, Cubs P Jake Arrieta "was announced as the new face of SAXX Underwear for athlete design consulting" (CHICAGO TRIBUNE, 4/15). PLB Sports President Ty Ballou, whose the company is behind the cereal, said that grocery chain Jewel-Osco "bought 80,000 boxes of the cereal." He said, "We hope to sell out and then we'll be looking for a World Series edition here some time in October" (CHICAGO SUN-TIMES, 4/15).  

FENWAY FRIENDS: Citgo has partnered with the Red Sox for the '16 season through customized co-branded activations at more than 400 New England area Citgo stations and at Fenway Park. Citgo stations will sport red and navy beginning in early May with Citgo co-branded creative, including pump toppers, exterior signage, in-store materials, customer giveaways, employee accessories and more. Through the Citgo mobile app, consumers will also have the opportunity to enroll in Club Citgo for the chance to win baseball-themed reward and prizes (Citgo).

WELCOME ABOARD: BBVA Compass added USWNT and Houston Dash MF Carli Lloyd as a #BrightFutures brand ambassador. Lloyd and other Dash players, including MF Morgan Brian, were at the BBVA Compass branch in Houston's River Oaks area on Thursday to unveil their new away uniform, which features the BBVA Compass logo. The bank is the official jersey sponsor of the Dash (BBVA Compass).
