Aramark has "decided to keep" its global HQ in Philadelphia. Aramark Senior VP/Corporate Communications TOD MACKENZIE said that the company was "not yet sure whether it would remain at its namesake headquarters tower at 1101 Market St. or move to another building in the city, but had concluded that Philadelphia's business costs, talent supply, transportation links and other factors would keep it in town." As Aramark's lease at its current Center City offices approached its '18 expiration date, the company had said that it was "weighing locations outside Philadelphia, its home of 55 years" (PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, 4/7).

DRAFT CRAFT: New Line Cinema, Cavaliers F LEBRON JAMES and LRMR Management Founder MAVERICK CARTER’s SpringHill Entertainment have "acquired rights to an Elite Daily video featuring senior humor writer CONNOR TOOLE that went viral last year." They will "shape a feature comedy from the video," in which the 6’10 Toole put on a suit, attended the '15 NBA Draft in N.Y. and "spent the night successfully fooling people that he was a second-round selection" of the Jazz (DEADLINE.com, 4/6).

MONEY MATTERS: More than two dozen players this week attended the NFL's Personal Finance Academy, a four-day seminar in Ft. Lauderdale "hosted by the league’s player engagement department." The program is "in partnership with TD Ameritrade" and the Univ. of Miami’s School of Business. This week’s emphasis "has been on generational wealth." The seminar "drew 45 participants, including 28 players and 17 wives, significant others," or, in the case of Bears S ANTREL ROLLE, his mom. It was the "first time the NFL’s player engagement program was made available to family members" (MIAMI HERALD, 4/7).

NAMES: Int'l Tennis HOFer BOB HEWITT "has been expelled." Hewitt in March '15 was "convicted in South Africa of raping two girls and indecently assaulting another while coaching them" in the '80s and '90s. He was originally inducted into the HOF in '92. Hewitt was "indefinitely suspended from the Hall" in November '12. His plaque and all references to him "have been removed" (BOSTON GLOBE, 4/7)....Race team owner ROGER PENSKE will be honored in June by the Int'l Motor Racing Research Center with the '16 Cameron R. Argetsinger Award for outstanding contributions to motorsports (IMRRC)....Warriors F HARRISON BARNES as part of his partnership and campaign with Red Bull challenged fans to a video game competition (Warriors)....Former AFL Chicago Rush Owner DAVID STARAL JR. yesterday “pleaded guilty” to federal fraud charges “in connection with his doomed purchase” of the team (CHICAGO SUN-TIMES, 4/7)....OHL Commissioner DAVID BRANCH yesterday announced that Flint Firebirds Owner ROLF NILSEN “has been suspended for five years.” Nilsen has “been banned from being involved -- directly or indirectly -- with team operations, effective immediately.”  He can still “own the junior hockey team” (DETROITNEWS.com, 4/6).
