In Dallas, Bill Nichols noted AT&T yesterday debuted an ad featuring Jordan Spieth "during the par-3 contest" at Augusta National Golf Club ahead of The Masters. The ad "showcases the many people that make up Team Spieth, as well as well the ways he uses AT&T to Stay connected" to his caddie, swing coach, parents and Cowboys QB Tony Romo. AT&T this week also will "air the Spieth 'It Can Wait' ad it debuted during last year's Masters" (DALLASNEWS.com, 4/6). 

HONEY NUT RIZZO'S: Cubs 1B Anthony Rizzo has debuted his own cereal, RizzO's, which  "hit the market this week." RizzO's come in a "limited-edition collectors' box featuring a custom illustration" of the player. It is "available exclusively at participating Jewel-Osco Stores in the Chicago area and online at plbsports.com and amazon.com." A portion of the proceeds "will benefit the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation." PLB Sports "launched 'Bettis HOF Crunch'" with Pro Football HOFer Jerome Bettis, and last fall sold "Witten's Lucky Stars" with Cowboys TE Jason Witten. RizzO's is the "first product for PLB Sports in the Chicago market" (CHICAGO SUN-TIMES, 4/7).

SHIPPING UP TO BOSTON: In Boston, Donna Goodison notes brands are "releasing Boston-themed sneakers and setting up pop-up stores as they gear up for the 120th running of the Boston Marathon on April 18." New Balance has "released two new limited-edition Boston-inspired running shoes." They "designed both sneakers with 'varsity-inspired' colors to give hat tilts to the Hub's many colleges." Brooks Running last Friday started sales of "limited-edition Nantucket-themed versions of its Adrenaline GTS 16 shoe." Locally based Tracksmith's and Janji's also are "taking advantage of Boston's biggest running event of the year with popup stores in the Back Bay" (BOSTON HERALD, 4/3).
