UFC Signs One-Year Deal Making Exos Its Official Performance Partner

The UFC has signed a one-year agreement with Exos making it the official performance partner of the MMA promotion. Under the terms of the agreement, up to 50 UFC athletes will train at Exos centers and Exos staff will participate in the UFC’s Athlete Summits throughout the year. Financial details were not disclosed. UFC COO Lawrence Epstein said the deal is structured to provide the UFC’s more than 500 athletes with resources that will help them maximize their career windows. Exos, formerly known as Athletes Performance, has years of experience in training NFL draft prospects for the NFL combine, as well as helping pro athletes from multiple sports rehabilitate injuries. The UFC began working informally with Exos in '15 and the agreement came about as part of that relationship. The deal is only for one year in part because the UFC is currently scheduled to open next March a new headquarters in Las Vegas, which will include a 40,000-square-foot athletic complex for athletes to use to rehabilitate from injuries, among other things.
