Nikon's New Three-Year Deal With Mets Includes Largest Static Sign At Citi Field

The Mets have signed an expanded three-year sponsorship extension with Nikon, making the camera and imaging giant the club’s official digital camera partner, and extending a relationship that dates to ’04. In the new deal term, Nikon will have the largest static sign at Citi Field, located just below the main videoboard. Nikon also will set up an activation space on the ballpark’s field-level concourse in which fans will be able to interact with Nikon products and technology and see behind-the-scenes Mets content and imagery. Five scenic areas at Citi Field additionally will be established as “Nikon Photo Spots” with opportunities for fans to get their own images on the stadium videoboard. The new Nikon sign replaces one in that spot previously held by Budweiser, but the beer brand remains a key Mets partner and will continue to have a presence at Citi Field.
