In Baltimore, Jeff Barker noted several days after boxer Manny Pacquiao "lost his longtime Nike endorsement deal," a photo was circulated "displaying the boxer wearing a pair of Under Armour basketball shoes." That in turn "led to speculation that Pacquiao may have jumped" to UA. But a source said that UA "isn't in talks with Pacquiao" (BALTIMORESUN.com, 2/22). 

MANNY BEING MANNY: In Baltimore, Jonas Shaffer noted Orioles 3B Manny Machado arrived at Spring Training yesterday "wearing a long-sleeve shirt with a familiar silhouette." The logo "seems to be" from a June '13 image of Machado making a defensive play in the infield (BALTIMORESUN.com, 2/23). 

FRENCH CONNECTION: Canadian retailer RW&CO is featuring Canadiens D P.K. Subban, a brand ambassador, in a short film for its new spring '16 suit campaign. Subban plays himself in the short, produced by Jet Films. The spot will be broadcasted on all RW&CO channels as well as other selected platforms (RW&CO).
