North Carolina Gov. PAT MCCRORY's car was "rear-ended" last night while leaving Levi's Stadium following Super Bowl 50. California Highway Patrol Officer ROSS LEE said that McCory "complained of pain, but continued on to his destination and did not seek medical attention." Lee "did not have information about the other driver." He said that the collision "did not block the road" (S.F. CHRONICLE, 2/8). Republican strategist CHRIS LACIVITA "tweeted that he was on the phone with the governor when the accident happened." He said that McCrory "was OK and was asking about others in the car" (CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, 2/8).
