Newly Launched Connected Sports Bra Will Get You In Shape

Unless you are a trained athlete, for most of us, it can be difficult to receive information about whether or not our workouts are effective. But MYZONE thinks it can help and has launched the MZ-3 Belt to help monitor your exercising results.

MYZONE, a fitness company, develops accurate wearable technology that gives users motivation and rewards your efforts, instead of fitness, to make the exercise habits stick. MYZONE is used in over 2,500 facilities in 35 countries.

To appeal to a bigger market, MYZONE recently announced its debut of MYZONE Sports Bra, a comfortable alternative to the MZ-3 Belt for women. The sports bra fuses together the MZ-3 Belt into the fabric of the sports bra. Users get the benefit of having a heart rate monitor on them at all times during a workout.

“We are excited to be able to offer women a whole new way to use the MYZONE technology,” said President of MYZONE, Emmett Williams.

MYZONE Sports Bra uses the same technology as the MZ-3 Belt. Right now the product is built to provide low support, but MYZONE is expected to release more sports bras with moderate to high support in the spring. The sports bra is washable and it has a single charge lifespan of up to of seven months. It also includes up to 16 hours of internal data storage for the users who do not connect with a phone.

Users can connect their heart rate monitor to the MYZONE app. Effort is measured through MYZONE Effort Points (MEPS), which is earned based on a user’s heart rate. With the app you can view your workout activities in a color-coded graph. Grey represents the least intense, and then it moves through blue, green, yellow and red for the most intense. The app also tracks your results over time and compares it the World Health Organization’s suggestion and your personal goals.

“We consistently hear feedback from our users that our platform changes the way they think about exercise – that the goal setting and social capabilities keeps them engaged and motivated to work out.” Williams added. “The MYZONE Sports Bra will make our platform more accessible and appealing to women everywhere.”

The MYZONE Sports Bra is currently available in black for $69.99, but it must be used with the MZ-3 Belt, which is sold separately.
