Recent Super Bowl Halftime Acts Saw Over 100% Music Sales Bump Around Game

Performers have enjoyed huge jumps in sales of their music in the week leading up to and following appearances in the Super Bowl halftime show, according to data provided to SBJ/SBD by Nielsen. The research group calculates total sales (stat provided in chart below) by adding actual album/CD sales to digital track downloads sales (10 digital track downloads equals 1 album) and streaming equivalent albums (1500 streams equals 1 album).
