Cavaliers Sign Deal With Aussie Breakfast Drink Company To Sponsor "Australia Day Game"

The Cavaliers have signed a deal with Australia-based Sanitarium that will see its Up&Go liquid breakfast brand become the team's official Australian Breakfast. The drink also will serve as presenting sponsor of the Cavs' first "Australia Day Game" on Jan. 25 against the T'Wolves at Quicken Loans Arena. As part of the deal, Up&Go will get sponsorship rights in Cleveland and on team channels. Up&Go has signed a separate deal with Cavs G Matthew Dellavedova, a native of Australia (Cavaliers). FOXSPORTS.com.au's Olgun Uluc notes as part of the "Australia Day Game," the Cavs "will wear their gold uniforms -- in an attempt to emulate Australia's green and gold sporting outfit." The team also will have the Australian national anthem "sung before the game." In addition to Dellavedova, the Cavs roster includes Melbourne-born G Kyrie Irving (FOXSPORTS.com.au, 1/5).
