CBS President & CEO Les Moonves said that while the net's Sunday NFL package is "profitable, the Thursday night rights have yet to cross that threshold." But he added that he is "still going to pursue them given the support it offers to the rest of CBS’ lineup." Moonves: "We’re not going to go in and lose a fortune on it. The same people who are questioning me are going after the rights" (VARIETY.com, 12/2).

THE BUCK CONTINUES HERE: The Bucks, who in October decided to continue with the team’s longtime game-broadcast home WTMJ-AM, said that the team "will add on-air content on Entercom Communications' Milwaukee sports-talk station," WSSP-FM. In Milwaukee, Rich Kirchen noted the announcement Monday "represents a partial victory in the strong pitch by Entercom during the past off-season for the Bucks game broadcasts" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 11/30).

HEADED FOR THE COAST: In L.A., Angel Rodriguez reported Andy McCullough "is leaving" the K.C. Star to join the L.A. Times' Dodgers coverage. McCullough previously worked for the Newark Star-Ledger, covering the Mets from '10-12 and the Yankees in '13. He "will join the staff in January" (LATIMES.com, 12/1).
