Audience Analysis: Warriors Setting Local TV Records During Season-Opening Win Streak

CSN Bay Area on Tuesday night drew its best Warriors game rating on record. The Raptors-Warriors game drew an 8.7 local rating in the S.F.-San Jose-Oakland market, passing the previous record of a 7.5 from last April for Warriors-Pelicans Game 2 in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. The Warriors currently have a 13-0 record. Meanwhile, TNT on Thursday night drew an 11.0 local rating in the S.F.-San Jose-Oakland market for Warriors-Clippers, marking the net's highest on record for a Warriors regular-season game.

ARMED & DANGEROUS: ESPN drew 3.12 million viewers for Kentucky-Duke in the State Farm Champions Classic college hoops tourney on Tuesday, marking the five-year-old event’s second-best game audience yet. Kentucky-Duke also saw 268,000 unique users on WatchESPN, marking the platform’s best CBB audience on record.
