Going Off The Grid: A Shootaround With National College Basketball Reporters

A weekly survey of sports execs and personalities offering their thoughts on a handful of pressing (and trivial) issues in sports and pop culture. This week, prominent college hoops writers weigh in on possible NCAA Tournament expansion, as well as the best venues to see a game.

  • ESPN.com's Dana O'Neil
    – Gets pop culture news via week-old People magazines from her mother, or from her 14-year-old daughter.
  • CBS Sports' Gary Parrish
    – Might know more about Hollywood gossip and pop culture than sports. Gets TMZ updates on his phone.
  • USA Today's Nicole Auerbach
    – Loves books and movies, but never keeps up with the Kardashians.
  • NBC Sports' Raphielle Johnson
    – Hasn't been in a theater in over a decade, and doesn't follow what celebs are doing.

Parrish
Allen Fieldhouse When the NCAA believes it can make more money by doing so Smaller arenas I'd take it all the way down to 24 North Carolina
Auerbach
Hinkle Fieldhouse Hopefully never Smaller arenas 30 seconds still preserves various styles of play in college North Carolina

Johnson
