Breyer Releasing Collectible Honoring Triple Crown-Winner American Pharoah

Breyer, the company known for creating plastic horse collectibles, will "unveil a series of collectible products to celebrate" Triple Crown-winner American Pharoah, including a "Breyer traditional, stablemate and holiday ornament -- just in time for the holidays at the 32nd Breeders' Cup" this weekend at Keeneland Racecourse, according to Jessie Oswald of the Louisville COURIER-JOURNAL. The Breyer toy "has been popular among horse lovers since its creation more than 60 years ago." Breyer's American Pharoah model "will soon be available" on the company website and at area retailers. Breyer will "ship the American Pharoah models to retailers as soon as they arrive at warehouses." Although quantities are "not limited, getting your hands on them for the holidays may be difficult if you're not one of the early buyers" (COURIER-JOURNAL.com, 10/30).

AMERICAN BEAUTY: Model Kate Upton is serving as a Breeders' Cup ambassador this weekend, and NBC's Jimmy Fallon noted she will be "handing out the trophy at the 2015 Breeders' Cup Classic.” Upton said, “I’m so excited to meet American Pharoah. … Also, I just want to make out with American Pharoah.” Fallon said, “You can’t really make out with a racehorse.” Upton: “You think I have to ask first?” Fallon: “No, I don’t think Kate Upton has to ask anyone if she wants to make out with them” (“The Tonight Show,” NBC, 10/29).
