Buyers & Sellers: Joe Philbin Lists Florida Home; Lovie Smith Sells In Chicago

Former Dolphins coach JOE PHILBIN has put his Davie, Fla., home "on the market" for just under $2.5M. The six-bedroom, seven-bathroom home includes a "media room, library and a separate one-bedroom guest house" (SUN-SENTINEL.com, 10/21)....Buccaneers coach LOVIE SMITH has "sold his 13-room brick house" in Lake Forest, Ill., for $1.45M. Smith "took a major loss on the house," which he bought for $1.625M in '04 (CHICAGOTRIBUNE.com, 10/16)....Baseball HOFer TOMMY LASORDA "has sold a townhouse" in Placentia, Calif., for $535,000 -- $17,000 "over the asking price" (LATIMES.com, 10/21)....Former MLB player and manager ALAN TRAMMELL "has listed a San Diego home for sale at $499,000." The 1,200 square feet of open-plan space "includes an updated kitchen with granite countertops" (LATIMES.com, 10/16).

: U.S. skier BODE MILLER has put his 8,000-square-foot Coto de Caza, Calif., home "on the market" for $4.99M. Built in '10 on 10-plus acres, the "Tuscan-inspired residence is set on one of the highest points in Los Ranchos Estates and boasts 360-degree views stretching from the mountains to the Pacific Ocean" (OCREGISTER.com, 10/19). Miller's home includes a "six-car garage with a motor court" (LATIMES.com, 10/21)....Padres RF MATT KEMP "has parted ways with his home in Paradise Valley, Ariz., selling the loaded desert estate" for $3.135M. The home includes "20 flat-screen televisions, a movie theater with stadium seating, and a resort-style swimming pool and spa." The 6,700 square feet of living space on a single story also "includes living and dining rooms, an office, an updated kitchen and a family room with custom built-ins. A separate game room "has wine storage and a wet bar" (LATIMES.com, 10/15)....Former MLBer TREVOR HOFFMAN "has sold a plot of land" in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., for $2.5M. Listed for sale last year at $2.699M, the property "is pre-approved for a building site of 25,600 square feet, with the possibility of an additional 9,400 square feet of space" (LATIMES.com, 10/20)....Former NFLer LADAINIAN TOMLINSON "has sold his waterfront home" in Lakeway, Texas, for $1.46M. Fronting Lake Travis on "more than half an acre, the three-bedroom home is entered through a step-down entry that opens to a family room and an adjacent dining room" (LATIMES.com, 10/21).
