ESPN named JP Morgan Chase Head of Ad Operations/Digital Marketing Group MARCELLA REGNIAULT VP/Digital Sales Planning & Client Services, reporting to Senior VP/Asset Management OLIVER DIZON and Senior VP/Business Operations & Strategy LORI LEBAS. The net also named Nielsen VP/Digital Enablemen SOPHIE COLEMAN VP/Data Strategy & Program Management, reporting to Senior VP/Global Data Officer VIKRAM SOMAYA. Meanwhile, ESPN promoted Senior Dir of Media Strategy & Planning MARY SHEEHAN to VP/Marketing Investment & Performance, a newly created role (ESPN).

MILLER TIME: Miller Sports Properties promoted Fanzz VP/Finance IAN MCDONALD to the same position for the parent company, with oversight for the Jazz, Triple-A PCL Salt Lake Bees, cycling’s Tour of Utah, EnergySolutions Arena, All-Star Catering, The Zone Sports Network and KJZZ Television. The company also promoted Jazz VP/Accounting RANDY WRIGHT to VP/Financial Reporting & Risk Management and Jazz VP/Finance NATHAN KENYON to VP/Business Analytics & Reporting (THE DAILY).

GONE SURFIN': Nike announced that Hurley Founder BOB HURLEY will step down as CEO to transition to a new role, where he will focus on building and cultivating the community and extending Nike's relationships with elite athletes. Longtime Nike exec and Hurley VP & GM BOB COOMBES takes on management of the business at Hurley, reporting to Nike VP & GM/Global Categories JAYME MARTIN (Nike).

EXECS: Stats LLC this week has let go of about 30 employees, including Exec VP/Global Strategy BILL SQUADRON, continuing a marked period of change under new owner Vista Equity Partners. As part of the personnel moves, many of its operations are further consolidating within its Illinois HQ.
