Bucks Roll Out Ticket Packages Around Alternate Jersey, Matching Court

The Bucks on Saturday "unveiled an alternate home jersey they will wear at four games this season" and "announced they will play on an alternate court for those four games," according to Charles Gardner of the MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL. The new jerseys "feature the Bucks remodeled deer logo on a black backdrop." The shorts "feature a scaled-down version" of the Bucks' new secondary logo, "with the stylized 'M' adorning the sides" (JSONLINE.com, 10/3). In Milwaukee, Scott Paulus notes the uniforms have been "stripped of their base color and traditional front wordmark, leaving just the imposing new Bucks logo on a black backdrop." The new court "shares the same design philosophy as the new uniforms, with the logos and color palette stripped down to focus on the team." The Bucks will be the "first team in the NBA to feature an alternate court design to complement the alternate uniform" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 10/5). ESPN.com's Darren Rovell noted the team will "sell a four-game ticket package" in which the team will wear the alternate jersey and play on the alternate court. The price for the four-game packs "starts at $215 and will come with unique giveaways for each game." The team is "selling sponsorship packages to the series, offering company logos on giveaways, TV-visible signage and an opportunity for company employees to play on the court" (ESPN.com, 10/3). NBA TV’s Jared Greenberg said of the Bucks’ new alternate uniforms, “Is the fashion capitol of the NBA now located in Milwaukee?” Basketball HOFer Lisa Leslie said of the design, “I might have nightmares.” But she added, “I think it’s going to be cool social media-wise” (“NBA GameTime,” NBA TV, 10/5).

TALKIN' ABOUT PRACTICE: Bucks co-Owner Wes Edens said that the team's new practice facility in downtown Milwaukee "likely would not be ready" until the fall of '17. The JOURNAL SENTINEL's Gardner noted this means it is "entirely possible" the Bucks "continue their training camp partnership" with the Univ. of Wisconsin before next season. Meanwhile, the Bucks and WTMJ-AM announced that they have "agreed to a multiyear extension of their partnership, keeping the Milwaukee station as the flagship of the Bucks radio network." WTMJ will "be the radio home of the Bucks throughout the regular season and for all six preseason games," starting with tomorrow's Bucks-Bulls game (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 10/3).
