Buyers & Sellers: Russell Wilson Purchases $6.7M Waterfront Home In Bellevue, Wash.

Seahawks QB RUSSELL WILSON has purchased a $6.7M "waterfront mansion on Lake Washington in Bellevue." Wilson’s name "does not appear on the records." However, a week after the Super Bowl that Wilson "had formed a company to buy a home once his new contract was finalized." The two-story, 10,700-square-foot home "has seven bedrooms, 6.75 bathrooms and sits on two-thirds of an acre of property." Built in '08, it "comes with five fireplaces, a wine cellar, skylights and a walk-in pantry" (SEATTLE TIMES, 9/10).

CALIFORNIA DREAMIN': Former NBAer ANDREI KIRILENKO "has bought a contemporary-style compound in Bel-Air" for $5.55M with 4,350 square feet of space. The house "came on the market in the middle of August" for $5.85M (LATIMES.com, 9/5)....Pirates P JOE BLANTON "has bought a vineyard estate in Calistoga, Calif.," for $2.8M. Set on more than five acres, the home "centers on a Cape Cod-inspired farmhouse with three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms in 5,200 square feet." A guest house "accessed by a long breezeway has two additional quarters for a total of five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms" (LATIMES.com, 9/8).

ON THE MARKET: Former NFLer CHRIS KLUWE has put his home in Huntington Beach, Calif., on the market for $1.995M. Built in '98, the "two-story Traditional in a gated community fronts the second fairway at the J. PRESS MAXWELL-designed SeaCliff Country Club." Within the 3,700 square feet of living space is a "custom video game room featured on the DIY Network series 'MAN CAVES' that boasts stadium seating, a dual gaming center and a 106-inch projector screen." Kluwe "bought the house" in '10 for $1.65M (LATIMES.com, 9/9)....The 41-room, 25,000-square-foot contemporary-style mansion in Oak Brook, Ill., that Baseball HOFer FRANK THOMAS once owned "came back on the market on Saturday" for $4.495M -- less than a year after its new owner paid $2.71M for it (CHICAGOTRIBUNE.com, 9/9)....A recently renovated $2.725M "summer pad, now on the market" in Southampton Village, N.Y. "features the designs" of former NHLer SEAN AVERY. It is the "first home finished as part of Avery's new venture with builder CHUCK GALLANTI" (NEWSDAY, 9/7).
