Data Shows Giants' Beckham Has Largest Social Media Reach Among NFLers Under 25

Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. has the largest social media reach among NFLers under the age of 25, according to an analysis of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram data by analytics firm MVPindex. The 22-year-old Beckham enters his second season in the NFL leading all players under 25 in Facebook and Instagram followers. Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell ranks No. 2 in social media reach behind Beckham, with Cardinals S Tyrann Mathieu ranking third. Browns QB Johnny Manziel is the most social QB under the age of 25, ranking just ahead of Raiders QB Derek Carr and Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston. The Raiders are the only team with two players to crack the top 10. Meanwhile, among all NFLers, just under 17% use Facebook, which compares to 20% among NFLers under 25. On Instagram, 34% of NFLers are active, while 49% of players under 25 used the photo-sharing platform. Around 71% of active NFLers use Twitter, compared to 81% of players under 25.
