Mandalay Sports Media, Vice Media Partner On Series Focused On Under-Reported Events

Mandalay Sports Media has partnered with Vice Sports on a weekly documentary series focused on under-reported current events. The series will be available on ViceSports.com. MSM’s Mike Tollin, Mason Gordon and Catlin Callaway will produce pieces every other week that are 8-12 minutes long. On the other weeks, the trio will produce 3-5 minute shorts shot inside the car of a sports personality driving to an event (including Ravens WR Steve Smith, Lakers G D’Angelo Russell and T'Wolves C Karl-Anthony Towns). The series' first episode, “Ball Hawk,” is about Zack Hample -- the man best known for catching Yankees DH Alex Rodriguez’ 3,000th hit (a home run) and not returning the ball. Other episodes will look into N.Y.'s street football leagues and underground fighting clubs.
