Yahoo Sports NBA columnist Adrian Wojnarowski has hired Shams Charania, formerly with RealGM.com, as a writer for the forthcoming NBA vertical he is developing. Other hires are forthcoming, and the new site is scheduled to debut around the start of the NBA season. Wojnarowski in a tweet called the 21-year-old Charania “the best young basketball reporter on the planet” (Eric Fisher, Staff Writer).

FIRST & 10 IN THE MORNING: "The Dan Le Batard Show" on Tuesday will move to 10:00am ET, its new time on ESPN Radio. The three-hour national show will continue to be co-hosted by Le Batard and Jon Weiner and will remain based in Miami. The one-hour local show will now be broadcast from 9:00-10:00am in Miami (ESPN).

BLITZ PACKAGE: IMG on Wednesday announced the launch of IMG College Football Blitz, which is a live and on-demand audio platform providing cut-in coverage of top CFB games on Saturdays. The initiative launches Saturday and will run through the end of the season. It will be produced and distributed by IMG Audio and include 10 hours of play-by-play cut-ins, highlights, coaches' interviews and analysis. It will be available in a special game-day-only channel on TuneIn Radio, as well as on SiriusXM, CBS Interactive's "College Sports Live" and on IMGCollege.com (IMG).
