Jordan Spieth Establishing A "Signature Look" With PGA Championship Outfits

GOLF DIGEST STIX' Marty Hackel opined on the outfits laid out for several notable golfers in this week's PGA Championship at Whistling Straits, which began today. Jordan Spieth "is going to dress like ... well, Jordan Spieth." His blue-striped Under Armour shirt "is starting to become a signature look, and a good one." It is also "nice to see that there is some variety in the pant colors during the week." Jason Day will be "wearing the same shirt design in four colors." Day and adidas "will build up a knowledge base so come Sunday, you'll know it's Day just by the shirt." Hackel: "It's a consistency that I really like." Tiger Woods and Nike are "right on trend with pretty much everything he's wearing." He has the "ombre look one day with a shirt that is close to what he wore at the British Open." Rickie Fowler and Puma will "hit all the big themes (stripes, ombre, color-blocking)" the first three days before wearing his "signature orange on Sunday," albeit a toned-down version. Webb Simpson and Izod "are committed to blue, which has been the trend color this season." What is "impressive is that the white outerwear coordinates with everything else." Justin Thomas and Polo "liven it up with the blue camo pants." Hackel: "Good for him. I also really love the colored trousers on Sunday" (GOLF DIGEST STIX, 8/12 issue).
