In Philadelphia, John George notes the Eagles and American Airlines "renewed their corporate partnership under which American serves as the 'official airline' of the football team." Financial terms of the partnership "were not disclosed." American Airlines has "served as one of the team's 'founding partners'" since '04 "through American’s merger with previous Eagles sponsor US Airways." American Airlines will "continue to sponsor a 'Fan Fly-In' promotion it began last season." Through the promotion, a fan and guest are "flown in for an Eagles regular season home game and receive free hotel accommodations, tickets, and pre-game sideline passes" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 8/5).

BAG TO SCHOOL: A GLAM SLAM's Heather Zeller noted Dooney & Bourke has expanded its Collegiate Collection of handbags and accessories to "include styles for 16 additional schools, for a total of 32 schools." Among the additions to the mix are Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Ohio State, Iowa, Oklahoma and Oregon. The new line "boasts seven classic handbags styles," as well as "four matching accessory designs" (AGLAMSLAM.com, 8/4).

A RIDE ON THE AUTOBAHN: Bundesliga club Bayern Munich and automaker Audi have extended their long-running partnership through June 30, 2025. Bayern and Audi have been partners since '02 (Bayern Munich). SPONSORS.de's Holger Rehm reported Audi has paid an estimated US$11M annually for the partnership (SPONSORS.de, 8/5).
