Churchill Downs Inc. Exec Chair BOB EVANS "will retire" from the BOD and as a member of management, effective Sept. 30. Evans "will remain with the company" as the BOD non-Exec Chair. CDI said that the changes "complete the senior executive leadership transition" that began last August, when BILL CARSTANJEN was named CEO, a position Evans has held since joining CDI in August '06 (BIZJOURNALS.com, 7/14).

EXECS: Premier Partnerships named JASON MILLER Senior VP/Corporate Partnerships, leading the firm's N.Y. office (THE DAILY)....North Dakota State Univ. named Oregon State Univ. Associate AD/Facilities & Operations TODD PHELPS Deputy AD. NDSU also named Lamar Univ. Compliance Dir CLYDE PRESTWOOD to the same position. He replaces LYNN DORN, who retired in March (NDSU)....IMG named Auburn IMG Sports Marketing Associate GM CHRIS DAVIS GM of Nebraska's Husker IMG Sports Marketing (IMG)....VenuWorks promoted CMO & Senior VP TAMMY KOOLBECK to Exec Dir of its Iowa State Center. VenuWorks will assume control of the venue Aug. 1, with Koolbeck beginning Aug. 10 (VenuWorks)....Eagles Youth Partnership Exec Dir SARAH MARTINEZ-HELFMAN "will step down" at the end of August to take over as President of the Samuel S. Fels Fund. She "has been in charge of the Eagles charity since its inception" in '95 (PHILLY.com, 7/15)....Charlotte-based charitable cycling race 24 Hours of Booty named former BDA Senior Dir of Sports Alliances PETER DAVIS Exec Dir (24 Hours of Booty).
