Braves, Gas South, To Continue Partnership Upon Move To SunTrust Park In '17

The Braves yesterday announced that Cobb EMC subsidiary Gas South "will remain the team’s official natural gas partner when SunTrust Park opens" in '17, according to Ricky Leroux of the MARIETTA DAILY JOURNAL. Gas South "will have its logo on a 75-foot 'Bring the Heat' LED board in SunTrust Park’s left field, which will display pitching statistics during games." The company will "continue to sponsor the 'Kiss Cam' feature at games and will be the presenting sponsor for the Braves’ annual fireworks show on July 4." Gas South also will continue to "make a donation to a nonprofit organization for each strikeout thrown by a Braves pitcher." Now in its eight season as a partner of the Braves, Gas South "joins MillerCoors, Delta, Comcast and Delaware North Sportservice" as team partners for SunTrust Park (MARIETTA DAILY JOURNAL, 7/9).
