Buyers & Sellers: Rockets Owner Leslie Alexander Spends $20.6M For N.Y. Apartment

Rockets Owner LESLIE ALEXANDER has "scooped up" a $20.6M apartment at the Baccarat Hotel & Residences at 20 W. 53rd St. in N.Y., just months after he "listed his Gramnercy Park penthouse for a whopping" $50M. The 4,545 square-foot aerie "is on the 44th floor of the brand new crystal-studded building and comes with access to the amenities of the Baccarat Hotel, including the new Chevalier restaurant, La Mer Spa, a fitness center and pool and a 24-hour concierge" (N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 6/9). Alexander's apartment "is located on the 44th floor" and "includes four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms" (THEREALDEAL.com, 6/8).

REALTOR ROUNDUP: Former Padres Vice Chair & CEO JEFF MOORAD recently sold his Paradise Valley, Ariz., home "located on five acres along Saguaro Road" for $8.7M. Moorad "bought the 15,000-square-foot mansion" for $13M in August '07 and over the past five years "sought a higher price during intermittent sales efforts" (AZCENTRAL.com, 6/5)....Former NBAer JORDAN FARMAR "has put his home in Tarzana up for sale" at $3.495M, after he bought the L.A.-area gated estate in '11 for $1,866,500. White in '12 paid $3.85M for the "two-story contemporary" (LATIMES.com, 6/9).
