MLB Network To Launch Live Stream Of Network Content Via At Bat App, Website

MLB Network today will announce the launch of a live, authenticated stream via MLB.com At Bat for smartphones, tablets and MLBNetwork.com, marking the first time any league-owned net has offered its stream across multiple devices and multiple distributors. Distributors for the stream include eight of the top 10 providers in the U.S., including AT&T U-verse, Bright House Networks, Cablevision/Optimum, Cox Communications, DirecTV, Dish Net, Time Warner Cable and Verizon FiOS. Each distributor will authenticate users via the At Bat app and MLBNetwork.com. The stream launches ahead of Giants-Mets tonight on MLB Network at 7:00pm ET. The stream also will include all MLB Network studio shows, original programming and games (Spring Training, regular season and postseason). Local blackout restrictions will still be applied based on a user's location, but those users will receive an alternate game or other programming.
