Elizabeth Dolan Resigns From Quiksilver BOD, Claiming Exclusion In CEO Removal

Fox Int'l Channels CMO ELIZABETH DOLAN has "resigned" from the Quiksilver BOD, claiming that the outdoor-apparel retailer "excluded her from crucial discussions and votes," according to Joann Lublin of the WALL STREET JOURNAL. Dolan said that she was "kept out of all discussions to oust Quiksilver CEO ANDY MOONEY this spring because of concerns that her friendship and shared work history" at Nike with Mooney "would cloud her judgment in weighing his dismissal." Lublin notes Mooney was replaced this spring with company President PIERRE AGNES after an "internal review that resulted in the company correcting errors as to when revenue was recognized and impairment charges related to the sale of its equity stake in Surfdome Shop." Quiksilver co-Founder BOB MCKNIGHT "took over" from Mooney as Chair (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 6/5).
